Indian Bank has got an excellent staff net work who are responsive and helpful. However the manager alone is responisble for every thing and others look to him for guidance. It is high time the age old system of one man oriented system is thrown out by the Bank and independent and knowledgeable officers and staff are trained and placed to service the customers. With the advent core banking, the branch level work has come down and their surplus time can be used to customer visit, development of new customers, inspection and audit of work, follow up for recovery etc.
