Too many additional costs.
1. In spite of Aviation fuel cost dropping to very low value, fuel surcharge component still exists. why?
2. The total air fare booked 90+ days in advance is still high. The return fare costs has no advantage of reduction of 10% of fare as was done before by Indigo.
3. The services which in fact results to them in huge savings is still charged to the online booking. INR 75 per sector for net banking pay mode and INR 150 per sector for credit card pay mode. This is unreasonable. This indicates the mindset of Indigo that they wish to collect as much fund for profiteering. Neither DGCA nor the Aviation Minister is looking at it?
4. All the aisle and widow seat costs additional amount. Over and above this, if you are required to web check in with not a pre-booked window or aisle seat, you need to still pay another INR 75 or 150 for each web check in depending on the mode of onlie payment. Highly unfare?

I checked the price of flight from Kolkata to Raipur and back on 11 April 2016 for a journey in mid August 2016. I planned to buy the ticket well before the 90 days, and to my horror I find the price about 35% more than 11 April price. With aviation fuel tanking bottom, it is highly unreasonable of Indigo to have hiked the fare > 35%.
Indigo enjoys fleecing its customers. It charges 150 INR per sector for credit/debit card payments, and 75 INR per sector for internet banking payment. Whereas it saves by not putting a manpower for the purpose.
How funny!! These additional payments are required again if you not pre-booked your seat and chose to book either a window or an aisle seat at the time of web check in. ALAS!! whether the government wishes to remain in permanent slumber?
And our DGCA and civil aviation ministry sleep over it and do not take hefty punitive action. And customers suffer.
And the Indigo always sends SMS to flyers to give them feedback!!!
