Decoding Bescom bills is like solving Algebra .., the arrears they charge is usually unexplainable, ASD deposits is suppose to be a one time security why does it keep coming every year. Taxes that put on the bills is unique to BESCOM not seen anywhere else.
I was working in a RAPDRP project which was started by the govt. to improve the process power distribution, reduce losses and optimize billing processes. But I am not sure how much BESCOM has picked up from the RAPDRP program.

BESCOM believes in penalising customers . Details of billing and meter reading is a mystery. Either you pay up or face disconnection.

BESCOM penalizes its consumers for paying bills online. No other utility charges extra fro online payment, but when you try to make BESCOM bills online you incur additional cost.
