Water supply of KMC is extremely terrible in practicality! It proves that KMC is not at all mature to handle these sort of essential public services. But it's going on as these so called bodies are elected by the provision of our constitution & become celebrities like! Living far from public & their interest!!!

Water is generally available in most localities, and 24X7 in some localities. However, quality of water is extremely poor, with high levels of micro-organizms and worms in many areas, and well above limits of arsenic and other toxic solubles in others.

Water supply is not KMC's responsibility. It is at the mercy of few lower level workers who will stop the supply or jam your ferrule specially of Multi story buildings, demand money and open the ferrule. On line complaint will only give you complaint nos and forget about it. Off late they have even jammed the online complaint web. Durga Puja is the main time for such great services.

It is poor in many areas but with booster pumping station in our locality we don't have any problem but in many areas water is a problem.
