I totally agree with Sri Shashi Bhushan and Sri Awadhesh Singh. Yes you ask any Kolkatan and will get the same reply. It is disgusting how the hawkers have encroached all the pavements and even some roads blatantly supported by politicians. I would like to blame not only these hawkers and their politician mentors but the citizens who buy from them are EQUALLY GUILTY. I f nobody bought from them they would automatically stop hawking on the pavements and roads.

Footpath encroachment by Hawkers right from Ekdalia Park To Golpark result of which we are forced to walk on main road which increases accident case. Also right under foot over bridge newly constructed of Bondel also hawkers encroach the area. Pls do needfull.

Ask any Kolkatans , reply will be shameless deceptive Govt. that promised to clear encroaching hawkers who are now masters of the shopping area and goons are at peak.

People can't walk properly.
