In Ballygunj Area near Hazra law college..things are better.But still we find garbage thrown from balconies and garbage piled on pavements near Ballygunj Phari and near slums in the area.

I would like to mention the garbage piled under Gariahat flyovers by encroachers who stay there and undertake all kinds of activities like cooking .Makes the place look dirty and ugly.The same is found near Kwality restaurant in Ballygunj Phari.Cant the Municipalty maks these places clean and green?

In my area, Kaikhali, Kolkata-700052 my neighbourhood Kendriya Vihar garbage are dumped for days together for trucks of municipality to be cleared after a week or fortnight.

In BidhanNagar Municipility Corporation where I have been living hardly one can find movable Vat which is very essential for easy and timely dispose off garbage. But, question is that is this municipality has right financial or administrative source? Truly speaking, the house tax this municipality collects is much less than that of cities where the right civic avenues are avaible.

Truely speaking, Garbage Collection is very poor in Kolkata. Neither civic body nor residents are serious about it. Kolkata is lagging far behind than that of Bengaluru, Pune, etc.

In Belgachia things have improved with the new compactor but there is still lot of garbage all around Tala Park

In our area ,Beliaghata,Kolkata-700010, lot of rubbles/rubbish lie in various spaces surrounding.There are are garbages too making the place dirtier

Whenever i park my car under Gariahat Flyover i find a lot of garbage a lot of bad smell & a lot of flies & mosquitoes . A lot of beggars & garbage pickers stay under the flyover creating more garbage. I think why the KMC , does not do anything to keep it clean always. the KMC just puts boards for CLEAN CITY while it does not take any effort to do something.
