I would rate it as very poor for following reasons: 1, It takes over colonies, collects taxes but does not provide services satisfactorily. Sewage lines are choked and run parallel to water supply causing mixing when there is leakage ( which is frequent), 2, Internal road maintenance is poor .Pot holes, Low berms with sharp drops, Open manholes, raised manholes, open manholes and drains, choked drains etc.), Non availability of correct size manhole covers . Standard answer is ' under casting. (Why not standardize size and have them cast in advance. 3, Indifferent and inefficient complaint lodging and redress, 4, Nonavailability of contact information of responsible officials and top management, 4, Thin prestressed covers may obviate the problem of raised covers to some extent being thinner,).5. High handed behaviour of officials when complaining ( I was once asked as to how did I enter the concerned engineer's office).

Stray animal control is non existent Stray dogs, monkeys and bulls)., Garbage collection is non existent. Anti mosquito measures nonexistent on ground.

In my locality, that is, Viram Khand, Gomtinagar, Lucknow, the water supply has been very satisfactory for the past several years. Everyday, the water supply is for about 2 hrs. in the morning and then again for about 2 hrs. in the evening. No water problem or scarcity as on date.

Many areas of Lucknow do not get water to meet requirement. Several areas do not get water supply from municipal corporation.
