Maharashtra State Electricity Board - Mumbai

Touchwood MSEB, BEST, Reliance, TATA Power etc have been able to provide smooth supply of electricity. But I strongly fear that this wont last long. There is bound to be shortages in future due to various reasons which need to be addressed immediately :--

They are :--
1. Wastage of electricity by huge hoardings which are lighted till early morning ;
2. Wastage of electricity by Malls, huge showrooms, lighting up of building facades by big corporate buildings, big private hospitals, heritage buildings like CST Station etc.
3. Stealing of electricity by unauthorised slums and hawkers.

The law-enforcing and power -supplying agencies (read Police, BEST, Reliance, MSEB, Tata Power etc) should ensure that such pilferage and waste of electricity if curbed and all the concerned officers responsible for it be penalised for permitting wastage / theft of public property.

As compared to other places in maharashtra....Mumbai is lucky to get electricity most of the times. ..but is more expensive. Lot of wastage of electricity at night eg...malls totally lighted up or upcoming tall buildings with 30 or more floors totally lighted up at night even if residents have not shifted in the building. Stricter rules should prevail with regard to wastage of electricity as rural places in maharashtra have so many power cuts. Judious use of power in city can help others in small towns and villages also to get more power.

Idea of generating power in home is very good.should be utilised.

We are getting Electric Supply from Tata Power and the services are well maintained. The billing is also alright. But one thing I am not able to understand why the Citizens of India are not able to raise their voice and ask Modiji Government to explore possibility of Generating Electricity everywhere by producing Hydrogen gas from Tap water. This will not only generate electricity at very cheap rate but also avoid power thefts, loss of transmission lines etc. The Overall Economy of Country will improve Modiji's Dream of Showing public AACHE DIN will also come TRUE. We shall have vehicles also running on Tap water by producing Hydrogen in the vehicle itself. Rivers could be connected as the the cost of running Earth Moving machinery will be very Cheap. WHAT IS STOPPING THE GOVERNMENT. Is It Resistance of our Oil Imports Authorities who will lose their commissions abroad Or FEAR OF OIL PRODUCING COUNTRIES who will not cooperate with our country in some matters? Why a POWERFUL PATRIOTIC BJP Government is not coming out with Bold step like that of NORWAY Government that has banned all vehicles working on Fossil Fuel from 2025. Many small and big countries are having H H O Kits being produced and used including INDIA. It should be encouraged so that people really feel Modiji has shown us Aache Din>

The service is good. I recently shifted from Tata to Reliance I don't know my bill has gone up quite a lot.
