1) MSEB / Mahadiscom bills are only address proof document accepted by all important organisation, Govt. offices, Banks, Schools, Colleges ,Employers etc. However, the address printed on the bills are such that it is sometimes difficult to locate the address by the area postman/women also. Hence the bills don't reach the address regularly. The customers suffer for non payment of bills in time and not having a valid address proof. Address copied by various agencies also get complicated.Request for correction of address also not entertained by Mahadiscom easily,which is very easy to verify and correct.

2) Inspite of paying regularly additional payment for no weekly shutdowns, regular weekly long shutdown takes place every Thursday in addition to unscheduled shutdowns and breakdowns.

THEIR WORLD WIDE RANKING FOR REGULAR SUPPLY QUALITY & SERVICE IS MUCH SATISFACORY , COMPARED WITH , NO. CONSUMERS THEY CATER WITH IS EXCESSIVELY VERY LARGE , CAUSE OF POPULATION WE HAVE , REVENUE COLLECTION , POWER IN PUT & OUT PUT , POWER SUPPLY WITH REVENUE IN FULL & IN SUBSIDY , CAPITAL EXPENSES & REVENUE EARN DEFFICIT IS VERY HIGH . THEY STARTED LOAD SHADING BASED ON REVENUE COLLECTION IS VERY SUCCESSFULL SCHEME IN THE STATE & LATER FOLLOWED BY ENTIRE COUNTRY & NOW IN ASEA . CORRUPTION IS EVERY WHERE NOT ALONE WITH MSEDCL , PLEASE SEE THE EQUIPMENT THEY HAVE & WORK THEY DO . IT IS VERY EASY TO CRITICISE MSEDCL , BUT GO ONE DAY ON THEIR MAINTANCE DAY , WHAT A MASSIVE WORK THEY DO , PLEASE SEE YOUR SELF . ANY WAY IMPROVEMENT IS NECESSARY & ON WAY , THIS IS THE FIRST YEAR , THEY HAVE BEEN MOTIVATED / SUPPORTED WELL BY STATE GOVT. OTHER WISE EARLIER GOVT. USE THEM AS FREE POWER PROVIDERS TO THEIR OWN VOTERS , FARMERS . MORE OVER SUBDISED RATE COMPESATION PROMISED BY THE STATE GOVT. FRO LAST 10 - 15 YEARS , NEVER RECEIVED BY MSEDCL , ABOUT RS. 2,500 CR . ANY WAY , MANY OF THEIR SERVICES ARE ON LINE NOW , LET US GIVE THEM ANOTHER 2 - 3 YEARS , YOU WILL DEFINITELY SEE VERY GOOD IMPROVEMENT .

Very poor performance and one of the most corrupt dept in Pune, PCMC. Their most of the meters are faulty, because of this billings become wrong. Then people have to pay heft bills. And if they go to seek help in the dept , for billing correction, they are very much harassed by way of treating them badly, keeping them waiting , telling them to come again and again, making them go back and forth from one dept to another dept at another location. Even after this jargon, the people still have to pay heavy bills, calculated by the electricity dept clerks or officers which are not intelligible.
