Toll free Number for registering complaint is just horrible.The person attending doesnot know anything about area,type of complaint etc.It is a waste of time and public money.Original ward vise complaint booking system was good.
Why all illegal so called temples are supplied by free connections? Same connections are either misused or used in nearby houses with the consent of wireman.This should be stopped immediately.
No regular check up of Transformer.In our area transformer was burnt because the oil was not filled and for the last one and half year's it is not replaced and the connections /supply is taken from other Transformer .
Trimming of trees before monsoon and during monsoon is not followed.
Distribution of Bills is thr. agency who always delivers the bills late so the benefit of early payment discount is missed by the consumers.The agency charges rs. 15 per Bill to deliver the same to consumer but never delivers in time.

Horrible service.Frequent break downs.Unit rates are high. Regular maintainance like yearly servicing of Transformer is not done,tree cutting befor manson is not done on regular basis,Transformer area is not kept clean by removing shrubs,bushes etc.Un authorized people use such are for storing their own material.Distribution Boards 9D.B's) installed at various places are in bad shape.Some of them are without door,some are tilted like PISA'S TOWER.Bills are distributed through their favoured agencies on whom they have no control.Consumer gets bill late or hardly can enjoy the discount given.

The rates are very high.Per unit rate works out to be Rs. 10.The charging slab for first 0 to 100 units is Rs. 3.05,for 101 to 300 units is Rs. 6.95 and for 301 to 500 units the rates are Rs.9.90 which are very very high.Considering the Centrl Govt selling rate through National Gird is of Rs. 5 for all state ,where as Maharashtra Govt charges above rates. Due to global warming the city temperature is reaching 40 to 43 degree Celsius and for a flat of 3 rooms monthly consumption works out to be around 350 to 400 units.Request first slab of charges should be made as follow:
0-200 units @ Rs. 2.75, 201- 400 units @Rs. 5, 400-500 units @ Rs. 7per unit.
Procedur for changing name is cumbersome.VizIf the bill is on father's name and after his death the same is to be transferred to son's name they expect the complete electrical wiring is to be certified by the Licenced wireman who charges heavily.For such cases they should check the right of a son whether he is legal owner of the property or should check on whose name flat is transferred etc.
Supply vise our area i.e ShivaJi Nagar is good.Less power cuts.
In our area High Tension wires need to be converted to underground which is delayed.

Far from satisfactory. Toll Free service is just horrible. Takes up the complaint after answering several questions but end result is "No Action taken". No check on unauthorised connections. No pre-monsoon pruning of trees in spite of several requests thru TF number. Simply wastage of time and energy. They wont come till the lights are totally gone and people suffer for a few hours.
