Unless farmers are free to fix prices and market their products directly to consumers their life will not change. Till then Govt. should provide them support with subsided inputs, easy credit, storage facility, and min. support price, etc. In addition they should be protected from natural calamities by adequate and timely compensation. Corruption in any form should be eliminated as our farmers are like our soldiers.

when i watch DD kisan channel, i make mind that farmer are getting benefits of kisan card and soil testing etc.. but when i talk to my papa and uncle that are they getting any benefits from agricultural land, I surprise to receive the answer. our agricultural land comes under kanpur nagar and my father use to get 24k yearly from "sajhidar" who take care of land and crops. He says the person always having issues with land and other facility and sajhidar (partner associated with it) is not getting any profit on our big land of few bigha. so please work on ground reality..

Hope to see actual happy farmers

need to educate farmers to adopt co-operative agriculture. small farmers life can not improve as they can not afford latest and costly methods of farming. also need to guide farmers which crop is more profitable for their soil and environment conditions. need to guide them to grow crops as normal instead of increasing or decreasing their growing trends with previous year market condtions.

I surprise how much farmer is cared in respect to Industrialists - He is c rushed by one and all. The only department which can get every help to farmer is Agriculture department. They should do it with complete dedication. The efforts are not transferred by states also is fact. Which needs to be corrected.
