My wife applied for renewal of her passport on 18th July at Vadodara in Gujarat. She got appointment at PSK Vadodara for 25th July. This itself was a great help as we did not need to go to Ahmedabad.
The procedure at PSK took about an hour.
And lo and behold. The passport reached our home on 28th July without any police verification required (may be because of using Adhhar helped).
Thanks and congrats to Passport division of ministry of external affairs for efficient and fast service. We are delighted and thank Modi Govt. for bringing in so many people friendly changes in government office working.
