Swachh Bharat Mission Swacch Survekshan survey 2017 has shown unrealistic picture of the cleanliness and public toilet situation in the country. Also saying that 180 railway stations surroundings are totally clean is an outright lie. Sorry

The Swachh Bharat mission survey released yesterday is not acceptable. it says 80% people are happy with public toilets and cleaning of their area. this is not the reality. You can go anywhere in NCR and Delhi and experience it yourself. The Govt says 37 lakh people participated in survey but I am wondering who they were and if they had a vested interest.

This ministry has tunnel vision. IT only announces expansion of metros and airports and so many things but does not consider the related infrastructure needs.
Examples galore:
Metros rails are planned without feeder vehicle parking places. Mumbai metro is recent example. See the chaos at Saki Naka. Hats ofv to traffic police for managing the rucus occuring all day long.
Airports are planned but taxi stands and passenger vehicle parking spaces and toilets etc facilities are not planned properly. These are added as after thought.
The municipal corporations keep increasing FSI but do nothing bother to think or to increase the roads or parking spaces. No plan for sewage and waste water, no plan for drinking water, garbage disposal etc etc.
Big mess and no body bothers.

This ministry is big on announcements and below average on results. Smart City, Heritage City, AMRUT, Swachh Bharat are alll programs but little action. Swachh Bharat has gotten limited to eyewash and tv ads and this big circle. What else is happneing on it?
