It is amazing that all the efforts of our esteemed PM towards 'Leap Frogging" INDIA to one of the 'TOP NATIONS' is going to the dogs.The 'DIGITAL India' was launched with so much fan fare to cover the chasm between the Bharat(Rural) and India(Urban) but DOT is sitting smug.We in South Delhi even do not have an OFC fiber laid out by the erstwhile MTNL may I ask why?Similar is the case of POWER from 914Kw/hr per capita groove the Ministry Of Power has not been able to move upwards as China has reached at 4000Kw/hr Per Capita.The Babus do not want any GROWTH as they are not even evaluating new USP Technologies as 'Distributed Generation' because of the OLIGARCHS in POWER Industry who do not want new technologies as they would be unable to milk the 'Kamdenhu' vide the route of PP model as known as DISCOMS.So Sir who is suffering 125Crore of us not the Politician/Babus we are treated as EBOLA and thus the Nemesis of our NATION by a well planned strategy by the hawks in the west.Kindly observe how N.Korea,Vietnam,Afghanistan,Iraq,Lebanon,Syria,Palestinian,Libya etc just to name a few and the current ISIL,Syria was created by who --THE WEST and they do not want INDIA to prosper so promote our lovely Western neighbor by way of episodes as Bombay blast seven years back ,Phatankot etc.Why has DOT,,TRAI and the Ministry of Telecommunications sat so many years on the non -performance of the TELECOS? There license had a term of cess to be invested in the rural as mandatory so whay did all in POWER sleep over and legal penalties and there licenses were not revoked can any one answer?NO it will never happen as in case of DISCOMS.They nearly collapsed the Banking structure in March'15 the Ministry Of Finance had to come in and intervene imagine Rs3Lakh 850000Crores as bad debts of the these Companies and who are these OLIGARCH-you can name them who has two third of this contributions.So in this case of 'FREE BASICS" the two ways to fund is -1)-Penalize these Telecos for past 14+years compounding it 2) Use the collected USFO Funds of Rs33,000Cr as the seed3) The Center should fund the basic infrastructure cost on 60:40 bais with the State and State should fund the Variable cost as it usage based etc 4) As back up funds for World Bank,ADB etc

Customer service is simply ZERO.
You book a complaint, and they close even without attending to it. No one bothers as long as the problem persists. Once it is rectified, there may be repeated calls to check if it is all OK. :(

MTNL Customer Care in not managed very professionally. You are lucky if you get good internet speed in your area, but the customer care is not going to do anything if you face problems and register a raise a service issue.
