the prime concern is total disregard for traffic discipline. this is deliberate on the part of the riders and the drivers. It is visible all over and there is very little that the police can do about it. only solution is the e-challan with hefty fines which could probably bring some kind of sense of responsibility.

The opinions expressed by Mr. Chaitanya Joshi are very correct.
Further, in my opinion, the biggest problems are easy dispensing of Driving Licence, too many vehicles and too many people on road, Lack of Traffic Discipline, Poor Policing, which instead of aiming to maintain traffic discipline aims to make quick bucks out of a totally miserable situation.
