Mugal Sarai Station, Near Varanasi.

Important station in the NDLS-HWH route but lacking facilities and additionally making trains late. Most importantly, safety is extremely bad at this station. This station yard is big, really big, and so should the RPF cabins be scattered around. But RPF cabin are mostly at the platforms and slow to respond. Several incidents of thieves stealing luggage in or around Mughalsarai station occur. Mughalsarai- Allahabad section is dreadful and very risky in terms of thieves and late trains of-course.

Station is very unsafe. Beware from burglars. Trains passing from the route Gaya/ Patna, Mugal sarai, Allahabad there are no security guards in sleaper coaches even in Super fast trains. We haver travelled from Madhupur Jucn. to Bhilwara by train no. 12315 Anannya Express on 31/12/2015 our two bags have been stolen between Mughalsarai and allahbad station from sleaper coaches apart from properly locked along with chain. The condition of choaches were very poor as they are very old. It is also noticed that on this route these incidents are very common and there is no security provided on rail. Unreserved passengers are freely travelling in reserved coaches doors of coaches are kept opened in night. I believe such problems are considered by railway ministry so that other passengers may travel from this route safly and carefully.
