best results.There is absolutely no need of Corporators as they are totally inactive and want to win only because they think it as a business.Save money on elections thereby.

If an organization is hell bent on lining its own pockets what result can one expect from it. The poor dumb citizen has to suffer in silence.

Road surfaces are bad. Repair work continues but if the contract is given to the black-listed contractors what can one expect. Citizens are suffering but somebody else is certainly making money!
The main streets like colaba causeway/Shahid Bhagatsingh Marg are not cleaned till 10.30 and on holidays, the streets are not swept at all.

In short it should be renamed Brihanmumbai Municipal CORRUPTION dept.
The roads are in the worst condition. If you add the amount spent on making or repairing the roads. We would have built world class roads 5 lacs times.
Nothing moves without greasing the dept.

This was one of the finest corporations at one point in time in mumbai from which over the years it has deteriorated to being comparable to being one of the worst. The city of mumbai is now being compared to that of Calcutta which is known to be a city of filth dirt smell and one of the dirtiest city i have seen. I have been born and brought up in this city. I used to love my city but now my heart bleeds and i want to leave this city ASAP, as it is filthy, inhabitable,dangerous, unsafe, accident prone, indisciplined, encroached, shabby, polluted, YOU NAME IT. absolutely unliveable.
