Too much debris from bad road consturction on the road. The garbage bins are always overflowing. Also garbage pick up happens during the peak traffic (THis is the weirdiest thing I noticed because in other international cities garbage pick up happens very early in the morning or late at night.)
Mumbai roads are very bad. The paver blocks have made the roads uneven. It makes the movement of the traffic slow. I wonder why no one in corporation realises this and just surfaces the roads properly bu removing the blocks where they have sunk, put some cement/sand mix and again surface it with paver blocks. This will make the traffic movement very fast. I stay at Andheri (West))and just look at the roads below flyovEr,juhu lane,Andheri Market etc. aND SECOND POINT: TO INCREASE GREEN COVER BY PLANTING MORE TREES & MAINTAINING THE SAME. wHY THE SHOPKEEPERS IN FRONT OF THE FOOTPATH/DIVIDER CAN NOT BE GIVEN THE RESPONSIBILITY TO WATER THE PLANTS SO THEY WILL BE WELL MAINTAINED.
sMALL THINGS CAN MAKE THINGS BETTER.If we have one more poor monsoon then there will be fights for water. Regards. Bharat Pattani
The concern of your is not new. If you feel about it , do some deed that can inspire other to do the same. Just raising concern & blaming other is not solution.
Mumbai street are still one of the filthiest still in the city. Not sure how we will fix the garbage disposal problem. Serious thought needs to be given along with strong actions from civic body leaders who are totally not concerned about public welfare and are all about political mileages
