Mumbai Municipal Corporation

Its difficult to commonly rate Mumbai Municipal Corporation because its Vast size or area...227 wards, most of the wards are clean with three stars ratings some are very clean with 4 star ratings and some are as clean as 5 star rating.Still many wards needs special attention for clean ship which are beyond expectations.

BMC road cleaning persons are not doing there duty seriously.They are not touching the garbage in a corner. They also not touch bricks,stone etc. on the road. Who will clean these?
This govt.is talking & collecting taxes for clean bharat. But is anything changed in last 3 years. If any one from govt. want to see the hell in mumbai one place is Bandra East station area.

PEOPLE WHO LEAVE GARBAGE MUST BE PENALISE HEAVILY.EVEN BUILDING DEBRIES ARE FOUN ON ROADS. BMC AND POLICE WITH MARSHAL MUST WORK IN CO ORDINATION.

Footpaths are for Pedestrians to walk but unfortunately in Tardeo or many other places, Footpaths are occupied by Hawkers. We should not allow Hawkers on footpaths. This generate nuisance in system so all our footpaths in Mumbai should be Hawkers free immediately. Also Footpaths are often repairs and they are not redone properly result of this many elder citizens like senior citizens are injured and you never know this they carry lifelong at times. So one should be do footpaths clean spacious. Walking is good exercise so by doing good footpath we should encourage citizen to walk and make them feel good and healthy. If Footpath is nice people will prefer Walking. So Hawker-free and Specious Footpath is must. BMC is good for nothing, its high time if they collect Taxes they should give back to the society for good cause. Hoping for changes going ahead.

The public infrastructure needs to keep pace with the growing requirement of the city, particularly the:
1) Railways station - local and outstation
- Poor sitting state for the daily travellers
- Food stalls needs to be strategically placed and must maintain high hygiene
- The rail station master's office must well equipped using latest technologies.
- Every Station must have a mini medical hospital for health emergencies
- Water dispensers must be neatly placed at similar spot across every station.
- Direction Maps are missing and advertising signages are inappropriately placed across every stations.
- Announcement Systems are dated and needs to be revamped with quality SPEAKERS and announcers.
2) Roads
- Roads at most of the crossing are in bad shape
- Pedestrian footpath are missing due to encroachments by slums, shops, restaurants or poor state of the footpaths.
- Planting of trees must be made mandatory for every municipal ward and housing societies
3) Transport - BEST Buses
- Need more Ac and non-Ac buses for populated Commercial routes like Dahisar to Andheri, etc
4) Metro work needs to accelerate now.
5) Garbage cleaning must be done before the offices resume ie 9:00am

Even if the Municipalities implement the above mentioned services, the citizens will hail such office for a long time to come.
