Corruption galore.Police and the agents work hand and glove.They charge 80RS /hr. Who is responsible ? and whom to ask for help? Agents and law protectors are both thieves.Prt of the money probably goes to the officials concerned.

I agree a 100% to what Mr. Rohan D'Souza has said. I could not have put it any better. This parking problem is severe in Bandra, Khar and Santacruz West. Just to name a few other places. Licences are given to shops, restaurants, shopping malls, but no permission to park anywhere close to these establishments. MCGM, BMC and the Mumbai Police (Traffic) should go to even close by places like the UAE, and see how they have organized the roads and parking areas. We Mumbaites are being taken for a ride.

it is horrible , cheating down by agents of mcgm . they charge on their whims & fool people about time , cost etc . if you are regular & pay them monthly then no receipts given , as money pocketed . there has to be barr coding as car enters & leaves which have to be verified with amount collected with time . Mcgm is most corrupt & making people also to do corruption . i would not rate for the services .

EUREKA! The traffic department of Mumbai has come up with an ingenious idea of decongesting the city and its roads ...'Demarcate all roads as no parking zones ' Horrible! Can the traffic department deprive the city of its parking places arbitrarily without creating alternate arrangements? This is causing a lot of inconvenience to the citizens commuting by cars and it is growing by the day and shall one day lead to revolt and non cooperation. But administration is not bothered. Is there any responsibility or accountability on MCGM or the traffice dept ?? Both are operating in different worlds without any coordination. MCGM has dereserved a large number of plots in the city originally reserved for parking by accepting premiums (and we all know what else). These plots belonged to us and not MCGM. These plots were for the convenience and utility of citizens. This is blatant injustice. Traffic Dept is happy putting up 'No parking signs' everywhere because citizens who do not find parking spaces are helpless and have to take the risk of parking in 'no parking areas' and pay fines (and you know what) to the Officers if caught. Also this increases unofficial valet parking in overcrowded parking lots and we know who benefits from that. There are already so many places in the island city and now also in suburbs where you cannot take your car if you don't have a driver. At places you have to walk a long way or worse still take a cab/auto to reach your destination after parking your car. This causes wastage of time and energy and leads to frustration. My sincere request to MCGM & traffic dept not to test our patience any further.

My suggestions
1. No arbitrary 'No parking signs' on roads without creating alternate parking arrangements. How to create them is administrations duty. Afterall that is what they have been employed for.
2. MCGM has to provide the city with the area of parking space originally provided in the Development plan of the city. If you have shamelessly sold those spaces, then purchase them from the open market..shell out money..bleed through your nose..do.. you have to. It is you who sold those spaces and pocketed the money. They were our spaces not the Corporation's.

MCGM...you are so deserving of all the abuses(and terrible ratings)..aren't you?

Big mess.
Double Parking is also managed with the help of traffic police.
Without any system of parking, there will be no improvement.
Install parking meter with alarm & camera system.
I feel that till proper space is available, the Pay & park MUST stop.
