The Mumbai Police has failed to curb noise pollution. They do not take any action, leaving offenders to repeatedly create noise. They are late to respond and often come only much after the complaint is made. It upsets me that they ask for my name. And strangely, they never know the address. They ask you for landmarks and details which any police station is required to know. Every police station should be familiar with the basic geography and road names of their precinct.
