the property tax collection system by MCC is one elephantine task, I have decided to forgo the 5% discount from next year and pay the full tax without the hazel of standing the long winding line of people as it is all manually done, till last 2 or 3 years Mysore one used to collect the tax and it was computerized, but here also one had to wait as many of the times the system was done or the server not working, but at least there was no pushing and pulling to fill up the forms manually, paying property tax at Mysuru MCC office is a harrowing experience.

Property Assessment and Collection by MCC is outdated. They must use internet to maximise tax collection and convenience to citizens. Currently the system is flawed and harassment is also experienced by the citizens.
