I live in an apartment near Gali anjaneya temple and ward. Garbage collection is extremely bad. The workers are demanding too much extra amount. When not agreed they stopped coming. Local corporator tried to help. The workers don't care for his words also. Finally we made private arrangements. We are looking to dispose waste at our end by processing the waste. Any ideas/ suggestions welcome.

I live in Konankunte Sowdhamini Layout and garbage is being collected only two or three day in a week and collected green garbages are dumped in front of one vacant site and cleared only twice in a week. We are not able to cross the road due to stinky smell and surroundings houses are suffering. Plastics and papers are burnt on the road and pollute the air and people are feeling suffocated. I Stay in Vidyamanyanagar, Bangalore - 560 091. Thanks to the corporator Mr. Vasudev, We have garbage pickups every week but people needs to be educated. We have a locality where majority of brahmins live. They just throw the garbage at the end of the street to get rid of it every day before their bath and pooja. MY BANGALORE WILL ONLY BE CLEAN IF PEOPLE ARE EDUCATED ABOUT CLEANLINESS. I request government to do this first so that people segregate their wastes and hand it over to the garbage collectors only.
