I Live in Hoysala Nagar of Bangalore 560016,supposed to be a prominent part in the city.NO WATER SUPPLY IN THIS AREA BY THE GOVT even when all nearby places are having water connection. NO EXAGERATION .IF YOU HAVE NO WELLS.THEN BUY FROM TANKERS AT EXORBITANT PRIES

NMMC (Navi Mumbai Municiple Corporation), one fine wakes up and wants all water meters to be changed to digital ones in 7 days, when they are not even available with vendors.

Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation needs to do a lot more towards keeping the streets in the residential areas clean. The streets are not swept every day, waste bins supplied are not large enough and located ate reasonable distances. Often waste collected in them is not removed for days.

Since most of the households are organized in housing societies, they could be used to train the household into segregating waste into reusable and non-reusable as well as organic waste which could be collected separately and and reprocessed centrally. It may be possible to recover some of the cost of waste-removal from this.
