This whole Swatch Bharat scheme is good talk with little action. There was an app (Swachhata) that was created to complain about issues but seems to not be working effectively for me or seems disabled in my area- Jonapur/ Aya Nagar in New Delhi. There is a nice pile of garbage spread for about half a kilometer which is now a breeding ground for pigs as well. Occasionally when an official or senior politican comes they try to clean but otherwise not. It seems that while the idea is good implementation has been a challenge. This needs to be considered other than on an eye wash as elections are coming basis

Pune Muncipal Corporation: There is a huge garbage dump near my residence creating totally unhygienic conditions. Its impossible to even walk on that part of the road due to the foul stench, stray dogs, flies & mosquitoes. PMC, even after decades has not been able to come up with any good plan to dispose of garbage properly.

Door to door garbage collection is good idea. Roads and water streams reek. Instead of getting fresh air during morning walk, we have to bear foul smell
