sion panvel road after vashi bridge to panvel - this is a heavy traffic road. why don't we use better technology to improve quality of roads. if repair work is to be done every 4 months, then how contractors can afford it. we need to go to root cause of the problem & find long lasting solution than blame any one.

There is no maintenance plan as well scheme (technology) to fill in the pot holes. We have been doing the same old way every time the pot holes are to be filled in. Within no time the hole appears again. We need to develop a technology (or borrow itfrom elsewhere) wherin the longevity of the repair can be assured. Secondly, the ward officer/engineer-in-charge hardly visits the site to see whether the work has been done satisfactorily. For any poor workmanship, the engineer-in-charge as well as the contractor should be equally punished.

It's useless talking about this. Mentality of these people is like shit. They are turning the city roads like their village roads, but they don't think turning their village roads like city roads. Recruit people according to merit and stop biasness. People need to change their mentality. Illiterate (not technically sound) official's will result into such situations. Interference of local contractor's (MLAs) and bribe system is also one of the reason.
