Street Vendors of Delhi engage every corner of the footpath, corners, and vacant places at underbridges, bus stands and everywhere. They have possessive mind, pay bribes to police and some of them have political support too. Really sometimes they become severe headache to the public. They grab strangers and cheat them easily.

at peera garhi metro station even walking is a problem due to road side vendors at metro station, foothpath is blocked even entry of the station is blocked by eateries, eve teasing is also there. please advice what to do?

Ask the mayor or the CM to travel from Govindpuri Metro station to Alaknanda on a wednesday. The road is so wide and atleast 8 buses can go on the road both ways. It is shameful that street vendors occupied this big road from both sides. They park their vehicles and the customers vehicles on the road leading to huge traffic jams kn this road. There is very little space for even a single bus to pass. In the juggi next to it shops are extended to the road. These shops are occuppied 20% on the road. Shameful that the Delhi Govt., MCD and Delhi Police blame each other and leave the tax payer general public to suffer.

Garbage collection in Thane is quite good, all the same all over the city you find heaps of garbage on the sidewalk and I find black plastic bags being taken away by unscrupulous elements unloading the garbage in the street.. This has to be curbed for improving status of cleanliness of the city and instill a sense of responsibility.
