Noida Police

Traffic Police till late was practically non existant in Faridabad. But, of late, some are visible at a few junctions/crossings, specially on the Mathura Road. But sorry to state, they are not well trained to control the messy traffic of Faridabad.

In our U.P. (Ulta Pradesh), who needs any regulation anyway? We won our freedom (total freedom) w.e.f. midnight of 15/16 August , 1947, to do what we like, how we like, where we like, to whomsoever we like, not bothered about any one else's convenience or inconvenience; hence, NOIDA traffic Police, if found anywhere on any road or junction, are there for passing their time. Mute bystanders, that is what they are in reality; so why crib! Green signal means GO, Red means look and GO. Helmets, Seat belts are only decorations. Vehicles, including two-wheelers, run on 'HORN POWER' and not 'HORSE POWER'. Better for us to adapt to these terms and conditions and be happy !! Or else, leave the country and migrate.

I have been living in Noida since 1993. Every passing day I find deterioration in management of traffic. There is absolutely no discipline on the road. Driving on wrong side is the norm & not the exception. There is no respect for the traffic signals where ever installed & functioning. Call Centre cabs and the shared autos are a law to themselves. I agree with Mr. Dev Raj that there is an acute shortage of Traffic Police personnel in Noida but what ever can be done with limited resources is also not being done.

Noida traffic is just useless, incapable and unwilling to do anything.
