There is very little presence of traffic police and there are hardly any challans for people who drive wrongly. If traffic is disciplined, the overall law and order situation will also see an improvement.
It's in very bad condition. Most of the red light crossings are without any police. Inadequate manpower in police dept. must be one of the prime reason behind this mismanagement. Moreover the irresponsible bike riders and e-rickshaws have become real menace on the road. I think majority of e-rickshaws are without any permit. Situation would become disastrous very soon if necessary controls are not in place.
There's total mismanagement of traffic in Noida..here rules are observed more in contravention than compliance..yesterday while driving back home in sector 50 I saw kids 14-15 years old driving motorcycles three on one bare headed jumping red light, one doesn't come across such brazen sights in delhi. I have been repeatedly telling my friends in noida police the traffic constables need training urgently and they have to be strictly told to enforce rules proactively...half the time they look the other way n keep chatting on cellphones.
