North Delhi Municipal Corporation

It's daily collected in Rohini Sector 15 and surrounding areas. However, MCD needs to improve in many other areas. I haven't seen even a single Vaccum Cleaner anywhere in Delhi although Crores were spent on advertisements ... !!! Anyone else did?

IN ASHOK VIHAR GARBAGE COLLECTION FROM HOMES IS ALMOST DAILY DONE BY THE MCD VAN. IT IS GOOD AND EFFECTIVE. BACK LANES ARE NOT PROPERLY CLEANED BY THE MCD STAFF. RAIN WATER DRAINS CLEANING IS ALSO VERY IRREGULAR. BETTER SUPERVISION IS NEEDED IN THE AREAS

I FIND THE GARBAGE COLLECTING VAN STAFF IS DOING THE WORK WELL. THEY GET ADDITIONAL BONUS OF SELLING THE RECYCLABLE MATERIAL LIKE METAL OBJECTS, PAPER, CARD BOARD, PLASTIC ETC.

THE MANAGEMENT OF GARBAGE IN GARBAGE DUMPS NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED. THE ROTTING GARBAGE GIVES RISE TO EMISSION OF GASES LIKE METHANE ETC RESULTING IN FREQUENT FIRES IN THE DUMPS. THIS IS A BIG CAUSE OF AIR POLLUTION.

Service is very good. BUT BEST WOULD HAVE BEEN DONE IF THE GARBAGE IS SEGREGATED INTO WET AND DRY CLASSES AT THE VERY BEGINNING AND DISPOSED OFF ACCORDINGLY. WET GARBAGE SHOULD BE CONVERTED INTO MANURE AND SOLD TO FARMERS AND PLANT LOVERS. DRY ONE SHOULD BE RECYCLED IN VARIOUS CLASSES. THIS WILL RESULT IN REVENUE AND THERE WILL BE NO DUMP HILLS AROUND CITIES. RATING 9 OUT OF TEN

Residential Garbage collection is OK. Streets sweeping needs monitoring. Safai karamchatis need to earn wages which they are getting as secured irrespective of how much they work ?

lot of efforts are still required to come up to average standard.

Garbage collection in North West Delhi Municipal Corporation is totally hopeless. Only main roads are cleaned/sweeped - that too not on daily basis - but as far as inner roads or bylanes are concerned they remain uncleaned for days together and stink to a dangerous level. Highly inefficient service.
