there is a tendency for the drivers to cheat. if they do not want to show up, they will not answer phone calls and customer is forced to cancel and get charged for it. it appears, ola will try to support the driver and not the rider.

Ola Gives Good Service.... But the availability of the cars is Less... Further the Helpdesk/ Help Line of Ola service is quite unfriendly, impatient, Bureaucratic/ red tapist.... always trying to find fault and loop hole in our complaint trying to Turn tables against the one Who Complains.... More interested in closing the complaint without logical ending

In Bangalore, Ola is slightly better than Uber. But, in Chennai, Uber is much better than Ola.

While we complain about Uber/Ola, we should think about the volume they are handling and the frequency of complains. I am a frequent user of these two services for last six months and might have encounter such small problems very few occasions. Just think it can happen if we use individual taxies. Its a oppertunity for us to promote these type of companies and uproot the errant Auto players from the cities.
