The Ministry has done well, though suicides of farmers are still there. Perhaps, coordination with the State governments may address the suicides rate less, action required. Hunger deaths are still prevalent in our country. Anyway compared to UPA rule, NDA could do well.

The agriculture ministry has performed well and is progressing in the right direction. With the assurance of 1.5 times the cost of production as the minimum support price, definitely, the farmers are to benefit. The tax exemption, and Kissan Credit Card, the crop insurance and the enhanced agricultural loan allocation to 12 Lakh Crores, the status of the people working on soil has improved a lot.

However, some organisations like Kissan Sabha and opposition parties are striving hard to misguide the farmers and make it to the people that it is their stirr which made the increase in support price etc. are done - nullifying the governments efforts. it is cautioned.

Any way, we are satisfied with the performance of the government. I am not endorsing that all the problems are solved and the farmer's suicide has come to en end. But, the government has done more than what it could do in such a short term - 4 years.

We have a lot more to do in the coming years. Just think ahead and move on.

Farmers are persuaded to use the pesticide which are banned in Europe and America. Farmers are done injustice during scarcity of rain. Every alternate year is lack of rain. The crop insurance is not paid. There is partiality in the matter. जिसकी लाठी उसकी भेंस Farmers have very bad time now. The mighty, elephants and pigs ruin the crop. Government can't protect farmers. There lowest prices when farmers bring their products in the market. Middle men earn the profit.

In addition to this, both central and state government do something for water to irrigation
