Pune Statiosn - even worse than a railway station in Mathura and Assam
Yuck!

Hopelessly behind the good reputation of the city. No proper parking space, circulating area is not properly maintained, dominated by roudy autowalas on the city side and dirty platforms adjacent to filthy rail tracks with foul smell and houseflies, insects flying all over. A few unauthorized catering gangs enter trains, book your lunch/dinner and provide a very sub-standard meal subsequently at very high rates, stating they are the authorized caterers. The actual authorized caterers come in to the picture only later, once the passengers have paid these duplicates and the damage is complete.

Very busy station without proper sanitation. Cleanness inside and outside station must improve a lot. Outside station (Platform 1 side) is in mess. Proper circulation arrangements for commuters and vehicles should be made.

Railway station un-matching the reputation of Pune as a city in India. Very poorly managed parking, very late announcement of platform for trains departure, requires additional foot over bridge, no indicators for coach position on platform 6, entry of radio cabs not allowed by auto unions.

One of the worst, Railway station in India, Roads & Parking outside Pune station is so pathetic. How can we improve it.
