In the area i live in, roads are being cleaned daily though manually which has its own limitation. On many occasions I see garbage being burnt which is not as per norms. Let us realise that public is more responsible for keeping the roads clean
Yes all over in pune there totally hawkers on footpath no footpath r left for walk for pedestrians and pune muncipal corporation is worst compare to other states
The road can never be cleaned properly because of the bad finish given during the road construction. If the surface is uneven and has patch work on the footpath left by previous digging exercise, then whatever you do the road is going to look dirty and attract more dirt.

The construction is bad and because of which any amount of sweeping can give clean look to the roads. The city roads, from left-to-right, should be completely covered in tar and/or cement.

As long as the footpaths are not constructed with ease of cleaning in mind whatever we do the feel of cleanliness is not going to come.
The state of Salunke Vihar road is miserable. Filth every where no cleaning stafff ever visits. All footpaths are occupied by vendors who pay regular hafta to the authorities. Pune can never become a smart city. It has the worst municipal services.
