Parking remains a problem in Camp area.

Impossible to take one's own car to crowded market and commercial areas as there is no parking places available. I normally take the autorikshaw if required to go there.

Very Messy and choked

Both the parking lots at Mandai are run by thugs. Even though a vehicle is parked there for 30 min, they don't accept anything less than Rs.10. They would overwrite one's vehicle number on the actual rate printed on the receipt very cleverly and charge double and treble amount. In case anyone tries to argue, they would simply overpower him with muscle power and foul language. As if it is their property and we are being favoured by them.

Misal Parking lot at Mandai, Pune has so much of space for parking but is badly managed. I had been to this place earlier and just yesterday again. After sunset it is like a ghost town inside. They are charging Rs.5 per hour for 4 wheelers but cannot afford to provide enough lights inside and on the driveway. Also as we go to the upper floors, there is pitch-dark everywhere, that too without any attendant or signage posted anywhere to guide the commuters. When PMC is earning money by creating a facility from public fund, can they not provide the basic facility of lights, proper signage and guidance. And above all, it is hardly a secured place for a lady to go inside and pick up her vehicle, particularly in the evening. Will the authorities wake up early or waiting for an incident to take place?

We need Govt run parking lots everywhere . Forced to pay exorbitant parking charges demanded by the shopping mails. Can't d drive in the old city as one won't find a parking lot Closeby.
