RAE BARELI JUNCTION (RBL)

The station has total 4 platforms, of which 3 cater to mail, express trains. the 4th platform is for passenger trains originating from Rae bareli. This station has proper lighting arrangements, wheeler shop and railway tea /snack stalls. The waiting room on main platform (number 1) is in a pathetic condition with poor toilet maintenance. Not very clean station during peak hours. Platform 2 and 3 are relatively smaller in breadth resulting in very crowded situation when two trains arrive simultaneously on platform 2 and 3. There is only one overhead bridge which connects platform 1 and 2-3 resulting in chaos when platforms are changed close to arrival time.
Due to crossings of trains some trains get late. This issue will be solved by the doubling of railway line towards LKO side and Pratapgarh side.
