Raipur Junction (R)

The most dirty station the railways can ever have. Platforms are so congested , No escalators no ramp facility. A Physically disabled person can not dream of reaching platform no.2 on wards., It does not have any standard of State Capital platform. Entrance to Platform 1 from SBI ATM side really horrible. No God father to improve the condition of this Station.

The enterence to the station is quite congested. The platforms are definitely looking much better.

Not befitting the city of a State Capital. Poorly maintained. Platforms are not passengers friendly.
Porters are charging exorbitant prices. The over bridges are not user friendly.
The lone escalator installed at one outside end and is not much useful.
Sice last three years or so we are reading in news papers that lifts will be installed on the platforms and the works on platform No.1 were also started a couple of years back but without any progress and creating lot of inconvenience to thew passengers.
Trollys were given for use of the passengers about 3 years back but these are always kept in a room under lock & key probably only to make false claims that the facility has been provided in Raipur station.
Security aspect is zero on the platforms. Platforms are not adequately wide to accommodate the rush of passengers.
Narrow state cases to the over bridge on platform No.2 on wards create lot of inconvenience to the passengers.
The announcers continue to to announce one train continuously for 15-20 minutes ignoring other trains scheduled during that period. In the event of delay of any train they should focus more on such events, which is totally absent.
Waiting halls are not well maintained and are not in keeping with the standard of the railways.
