Most foreign co.'s in India, including Samsung and Honda cars sells their product in foreign country and give international guarantee, but when we ask the Indian counter part refuses to accept the same. When we insists on them, they charge 3 to 4 time regular price in India. When we try to get the product repaired with other technicians they do not give the parts. So finally, we end up paying them their demanded price.
They just wants to suck the clients, and there is no agency Govt. or Companies who are there to look in our complain. My Samsung fridge thermostat was replaced for Rs.2000/-, which can not be more than few hundred, Samsung TV speakers spoiled and Samsung asked to pay Rs.4000/- finally I got amplifier and connected to the TV. Similarly. My Honda Car's Driving side mirror was broken. I tried to get new one from motor market in opera House and Sion, but the mirror was not available. I called up Honda co. and i was replied that they do not sell their parts in the market. We have to buy from the co. or their service dealers only. Finally I asked the dealer, who called for the mirror from Delhi and was fitted after 3 weeks, and believe me? they charged Rs.1250/- for the mirror and fitting charges, plus car was taken to Andheri to do the job.
In short, all foreign companies takes customers for a ride, even the product sold in India are inferior quality for higher price. No dept. from the Govt. to look in to the quality and service specially provided by foreign co.'s. And Indian co,' are learnig from them how to suck the customer in the name of service.
