Secunderabad Junction (SC)

Better facilities in comparison with other big Railway stations like Mumbai, kolkatta, Delhi and Chennai.

It needs more escalators on platforms. Things are improving. Mineral water should be supplied in one or two Big Container with Taps. We are unnecessarily paying Rs.20/- but the water just cots Rs. 2/- only. Big companies are looting. Some thing should be done about it

In spite of the crowd milling around, the station is well maintained. Communication system is fairly good and audible. Staff are polite in general.

The only thing is their refusal to accept 50 paise coin some time back even though the GOI has not declared it otherwise. When I informed the counter lady that it is a legal coin and I would lodge a complaint, she asked me to go ahead.

Excellent station compared to varanasi , allahabad and many other northern railway junkyards . waiting rooms and trolley facilities can be improved further but really commendable job by railway authorities to improve and maintain sec jn in professional way
