Secunderabad Junction (SC)

Good ambience good PA. Compared to North side stations secunderabad is in vry good shape.

Over the years the station has improved , but still a lot of work has to done . I really appreciate the efforts of authorities on cleanliness maintenance of the station . It is not befitting for the station because its a zonal headquarter of SC railway. one of the important issue is the food served by IRCTC canteens which needed to be improved ,its not only in secundrabad but its a problem plaguing indian railways . i strongly recommend introduction of luggage trolleys for the passengers who are boarding and alighting trains at least on experimental basis in big stations . One word of appreciation for rail authorities is that they they made tremendous improvements on bhoiguda ( New Entrance ) to list a few excellent parking , excellent platform no 10 and the building adjoining the platform No 10 ( I Would rate as one of the cleanest platforms on indian railways all over india. kindly look at other things like wash rooms on other platforms

The GM Of SCRly may have to make periodical visits to Secunderabad JN ; Platforms and sarrounding areas for cleanliness ;UPKEEP. With outdated public address system noise pollution is more. Some platforms give stinking smell.

Except the platform at the entrance others are narrow and need widening.

Too noisy. Makes no sense for so much of noise generated through cheap TV ads. The commercials are forced upon the commuters. It also distracts the attention of passengers and increases the possibility if thefts. Noise pollution by itself is very harmful to health. Railway stations should be as silent as airports. Except the sound of a passing train, there should be no other noise..

Secunderabad Junction is one of the noisiest railway stations. The sound of the commercial audiovisual ads is most disturbing and distracting. This could lead to health problems as well as a rise in thefts and other crimes. All railway stations should be maintained on par with the Airports.. as silent and as clean..
