People voted Mr. Modi with great hopes. One of the primary hope was eradication of corruption at all levels. However, even after passage of more than 18 months time, nothing seems to have changed on this issue.
The second promise was improved governance, where again nothing seems to have improved. It looks that more effort is put on publicity rather then actual delivery of work. The government looks to be more worried about foreign investment and big Industrialists rather then the common man. All senior ministers are busy in wooing the foreign investors and big businessman as if they alone could solve problems of common man notwithstanding the fact that they are only interested in making money.
The issues of increasing job opportunities and price control are also elusive. Earlier onion prices went up and now prices of pulses have become unaffordable.
