There is hardly a concerted efforts to maintain cleanliness-most of the sweepings are pushed to the drains clogging them in the road from outer Ring road to PVR Sonia. There are eateries who spread enough nuisance while blocking the pavements .

I doubt if there exists any Municipal Corporation in Janakpuri/Hari Nagar Area?

The roads and colony streets are in a pathetic state. It appears that there are no MCD cleaners allotted to clean these. All the walkways are full of construction material dumped at random. One needs to walk on the roads and not the footpaths. The so called posh colony of DDA is crumbling and in shambles. In my last 28 years of stay here, I have yet to see a JE supervising any of the MCD activities. They are merely visible for a purpose to extract money from gullible residents and pvt. contractors. The storm water drains are full of filth and in a few years it will turn into another "Calcutta" ! with water logging problems. Whatever little cleanliness is visible is because of some proactive resident associations hiring their own work force - then why should we pay property tax ?

Very poor cleaning on roads , parks and colonies

Vasant Kunj, so-called a posh locality remains filthy.
Very proudly, we showcase our garbage on the main Main Vasant Kunj Road - Nelson Mandela Road crossing.
Interestingly, nobody takes responsibility of such sites, while a small construction proudly displays the "tireless efforts" of area Councillor or MLA.
A sad state off affairs - yet a consolation considering much worse areas. After all, our leaders do admit that our cleanliness / hygiene standards are different from the developed world! :(
