Garbage collection in sector 22 Dwarka is very poor. Service lane behind the societies ( Shubham,Dream etc)and parks remain littered for days as it is not collected on daily basis. Though citizens pay Swachh Bharat cess but swachhta seems to be the last priority. Residents try to keep the area clean but non removal of garbage by SDMC is disheartening and must make adequate arrangements for garbage removal on daily basis.

Garbage collection does not seem to be priority on the list of SDMC as seen in Dwarka sector 22. Once on asking garbage collector persons who told that for whole of sector 22 only on dumper is deployed. Result is garbage is strewn here and there.

I live in Jogabai extn and our roads are sweeped after a weeks time till then there are piles of garbage lying on the road and it starts.stincking and makes life miserable to walk through those roads.. need daily sweeping..

In Dwarka sector-18A, there is no collection of garbage from society gates and things are turning from bad to worse. It is understood that the contract with the garbage collector is over and the new one not yet finalized. How can the authorities be so callous that the contract for such an important issue is not reviewed timely. There is a lot of smell around with flies / mosquitoes and on top of
that stray dogs spread it all around which will lead to health problems. Even there is no brooming of roads in the locality unless a request is made and peruse the authorities. Why the authorities are sleeping even when the PM launched the swach Bharat abhiyan almost two years back. People were so elated but the ground realities are far from true even after two years. In the real sense, only the individuals or groups are doing something but the authorities are totally negligent and still sleeping. Even on road sides tree leaves and garbage heaps are lying but no one is collecting the same. There is absolutely no initiative from civil authorities even when the municipal elections are not far away. How can BJP expect support from the citizens in such a situation. I request with folded hands to please wake up and do something , if not for the people , for your sake ( for the sake of votes).
The above situation is more or less same else where in Dwarka / Delhi or even worst than Dwarka.
