SDMC does not know how to manage the garbage and the entire South Delhi looks like a big slum area

I reside in Mohan Garden, Rama Park road to be precise. I would say Garbage collection by the MCD is a bit above average in my area, with MCD staff coming in to sweep daily and Garbage collection trucks coming to main roads every other day. But just to main roads and not to our streets. For our house garbage/waste, we have to pay to the private collectors and give our waste to them. MCD trucks would come and pickup Garbage from the arterial road only, now we cannot throw our waste on the road and wait for the trucks to take them away the next day. This is our city, our area, how can we throw waste on the streets. I know few people do that, but I cannot, neither can the people living in my street.

In my locality in South Delhi, garbage removal is fairly good.

Well, I see improvement in garbage removal, street cleaning and pre-monsoon cleaning of drains this year. If the pressure of Swachh Bharat campaign continues, I believe the attitude of the people on the job will also change.

Collection is not regular. By evening it is very dirty
