I went to bank in a village in parrvoor of state bank of India for reporting the cashs are not available In ATM.The executive sitting on the counter don't have coursity how to address the senior citizens Request.It is not our duty to fill up the ATM replied by a young man .Oh what a wonder ful approach Towards customers.Many of the SBI banks approach to wards customers are like that some of them in Mumbai.Majority of the ATMs of SBI there is no cash sine demonetisation. What for the untruth regarding functionality of publishing in media. Govt publishes the number of notification related demonetisation in electronic media but same is not reaching to the banks in time.It leads to friction between bank staff and public. Where is digital India
I had no trouble whatsoever in exchanging old notes and getting new ones as I deposited old one's in my account and withdrew cash from my account. Paid everyone through cheques as far as possible. It was very smooth. The trouble people had will be paid off by Improving economy. Its bound to affect the Black Money hoarders.
Ambattur State Bank of India is very cutomer friendly and we had no difficulty in encashing cheques.As for ATM we found that most ATM were used by benami persons and we have never seen them in Banks earlier K.Narayanan
I bank with State Bank of India, Kalamboli. Its service is better than that of other banks. Still, there are are long queues in the Branch. The ATM also goes dry many times, though much less than other banks' ATMs.
i wanted to switch loan from HDFC to SBI. on 1st Oct they SMSed that they have sent my loan application. now one SBI person is asking " how to visit your house...which way it is, how far from there" Another person called up from Kilpauk that "you have to show the original document, no no no noh, you have to come here, yes yes you can send a person with those document"
The ATM / CDM in this branch has probably been 'Out of Order' for major part of the year. Any no. of complaints to the Chief Manager & the Authorities have not elicited any response .

In Bihar Sharif, there are 4 SBI branches. In none of them, GREEN CHANNEL works properly. Most of the days it remains fail. Even the day it works, you need to swipe twice or thrice or wait for luck. In the three banks, each have two Green Channel machine but they say only one may work, other is permanently non-functioning. And on that one you have to attempt your luck. Out of 20 to 25 tries, I've got only one day when it was working without any problem.
Very poor service and regard for customer. Even money in account in not safe. A forged cheque was encashed from my 80 year old mothers account and inspite of repeated efforts the Bank refused to act and reimburse her money ! And she has been a customer for nearly 30 years with the Bank.
