SBI does many more jobs than other Banks, e.g., working as Govt. Treasury and doing clearing job in absence of RBI all over India, paying pension to all retired employees, providing banking service in small towns and remote villages where no other banks have dared to enter and serving crores of people all over India. I have my single Pension A/c. in Garia Branch, Kolkata- 700 047 and a SB A/c. in Brahmapur Branch, Kolkata- 700 096 jointly with my wife, Mrs. Krishna Sarkar.

Require improvement in the branch as well as ATMs. Only a few customers get better services.

IT is the best serving Bank in difficult times like demonitisation carrying most of the burden of Govt policy. You know it is a financial institution deals in funds.Any loss at the end of the day is personally owned by the employee.Public does not understand their position, blames for shortcomings on the part of Govt/RBI. See when RBI is not able to provide enough cash to banks how they can be blamed for not loading ATMs with cash.Even branches do not have enough cash to pay to the depositors. Credit is taken by Govt and blame by banking industry as a whole.

Lines at ATMs are shoort, branches acceptably crowded. things have improved a lot and will be normal in the sense increased limits for cash withdrawl at ATMs and branches by the end of month with increased currency supply by RBI of 500/- denomination.

We will be failing in our duty if we do not applaud the services rendered by the Sanjaynagar branch (Bangalore)A swiping m/c is staffed near the entrance and we can draw Rs.2000/-per day per card(other bank cards also)Some times that kind staff issues 10 currency also.He gives preference to the senior citizens in Q.The bank counters also kind enough to offer their good service.We can draw upto 10000/-per day(100 and 50 currencies if we opt)
