Maharashtra State Election Commission
Chembur Office, Mumbai
My Family members and I had applied for Registering as voters and the Election Photo Identity Card (EPIC) on 18 February 2014 at the Chembur office in Mumbai, Maharashtra state. Following are the details of our applications
Chandrashekhar Rajaram Shetye ID No 173/8/1
Arati Chandrashekhar Shetye ID No 173/8/1
Vidula Chandrashekhar Shetye ID No 173/8/1
Priyanka Chandrashekhar Shetye ID No 173/8/1
Although we had applied in time for Parliamentary Election, we did not get the cards. We also missed the Maharashtra assembly elections. One more year has passed after the Maharashtra assembly elections and we have still not been registered as the voters.
On approaching the Chembur office, it appears that nobody knows anything, neither are they interested in putting any efforts in doing the things. Most of them report late for duty and are very rude to the general public.
I hereby request you to look into the matter and provide us the registration at least in time for Mumbai Municipality elections.
The Election Commission Website has a Complaint Procedure for which you have to register. For registration you have to enter correct captcha code and they will reject your Captcha Code. So you do not register a complaint and they claim their efficiency.
