IN BHOPAL , THE HAITHWAY IS THE SERVICE PROVIDER, AND DICTATING LIKE ANY THING , THE CHARGES ARE LEVIED IN ADVANCE AND ON VERY FINE MORNING MESSAGE APPEARS THAT SONY OR STAR CHANNELS WILL BE ON ALACARTE BASSIS AND ALL OF SUDDEN THE SONY, STAR AND AAJ TAK TELECAST STANDS SUSPENDED WITHOUT ANY SPECIFIC REASON. DESPITE THE FACT THAT THE ADVANCE PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE. THE REGULATORY AGENCIES ARE EYEWASH DO NOT TAKE ANY ACTION OR PROVIDE PROTECTION TO CONSUMERS. IT IS ONLY CONSUMERS CAN UNITE AND FIGHT AGAINST SUCH SIORDERS.

WE ARE ALSO USING SUN DIRECT SINCE LAST 6 YEARS N I AM WRITING MY EXPERIENCE AS A CUSTOMER I AM USING THE PRODUCT:-1)-RECHAGING IT WITH MONTHLY PACK WHICH IS NOW 350/- P.M. BUT IT WAS NOT EARLIER AS PRICES REVISED WITHIN 6 MONTH.
2)-80% OF THE CHANNELS PROVIDED TO ME UNDER THE 350/- PACK ARE NOT MEAN TO US AS THEY ARE EITHER REGIONAL OR SOUTH INDIAN CHANNELS....WHY SO....????
3)-THERE ARE TOTALLY 4 HINDI NEWS CHANNELS. AND SAME IN ENTERTAINMENT, MOVIES ETC.

TRUELLY A WASTAGE OF MONEY FOR ME BUT I DONT HAVE ANY OTHER OPTION.....WHAT TO DO....?????

NO PROPER MANAGEMENT AND SERVICE WORTH OF MY AMOUNT SO I MAY SAY THAT.....IT IS POOR IN QUALITY TO ME.....

I always go for long term packages and sun direct seems to be the cheapest compared to other service providers. Especially the number of Tamil channels offered in the south indian package is very good. I have 2 connections (Parent and Child) - had difficulties with the customer service while taking connections and extending the child connection subscription as I had to call CS for every extension and it cannot be done online.

SUN Direct serves its customers fairly well. However there are always areas where improvement is possible. I am listing out the following:
1. I always used to subscribe for a period of one year based on certain number of channels availability within the basic package. But to my surprise, I find that few of channels are taken off the basket just like that and when we start searching for answers they are being offered as an additional payment options. I feel that is not a fair practice to do so. For long term subscribers they need not do this.
2. News coverage to be maintained without bias against any one particular party or leaders whatever may be the background support it may derive from a political entity.
3. SUN Direct never bombards its viewers with lot of pop up messages or advertisements regarding their plans.
