Swachh Bharat Mission

Tamilnadu has witnessed maximum number of deaths since independence last year due to dengue, malaria, etc. which is a proof of how good swach bharat is working! Just pull the budget allotted for cleaning school toilets and you will come to know whether it will work or not!

In Tamilnadu, the Corporation and local bodies wantonly or not spoil the road by digging for Electricity cable laying, telephone cables, metro water pipes laying and leave the area full of rubbish and mud heaps. Road cleaning is not up to the mark local bodies do not care for it and leave the matter with private franchise agencies. Drinking water supply to the areas well with in the city limit like Kolathur, Teachers colony, Vivekananda Nagar are not provided for a decade.

The Civil works especially laying of roads and drainage works being done Chennai Corporation is the worst. There is no quality of work and there is no supervisor seen at site. Work is being done as per the will of contractor. Some action to be taken to improve the quality
