The employees/management is not quick enough to adapt to changes and they do not think out of the box to address situations. The Manager/employees are afraid to take initiatives which may not be approved by the management. for eg. they did not arrange for more than the usual cash disbursal counters as it would entail payment of additional money to the employee working as a cashier which has to be approved by the management.

WENT TO SYNDICATE BANK MOUNT ROAD BRANCH AND WAS SURPRISED TO SEE THE GENERAL MANAGER AND HIS TEAM ATTENDING TO CUSTOMERS.
I RETURNED MY OLD NOTES AND GOT Rs 2000/- ALL IN 15 MINUTES. DEFINITELY NOT LIKE WHAT WAS REPORTED ON TV!!
KUDOS TO THE GENERAL MANAGER AND HIS TEAM ON THE EXCELLENT TEAM WORK. GREAT EFFORT

Pension arrears, increase in DA gets always delayed as compared to SBI, PNB etc. Some banks give pension details for the month, which is not the case with this bank. At times one has to get in touch with their Manipal HO, to resolve pending issues. In this category I rate them Below Average.
Other services are really good. I have an account with them from last almost 30 years.. In this category I rate them Good.

NET BANKING PORTAL IS LITTLE COMPLICATED. IT NEEDS. SIMPLIFICATION. BRANCH IS SHORT-STAFFED.
SERVICE IS SO SO. RATE : 3 OUT OF 5. .

In the branch where I have a/cs, there is shortage of space. Also shortage of Staff. But the present staff and Chief Manager are doing good job in disbursement and getting deposits. It is appreciating under the prevailing conditions.
